Partnership Announcement: Responsible AI Institute

News

Open North is very pleased to announce a new partnership with the Responsible AI Institute (RAI).  Together, we will collaborate on values-based initiatives to help municipalities use AI in the public’s interest. Namely: 1) gain a better understanding of the challenges communities face related to the use of artificial intelligence; 2) identify learnings from the experience of each partner to inform engagement in their respective networks, programs, and communities of practice to support municipalities on the responsible use of AI; and 3) cross-collaboration and networking on topics of the responsible use of AI.

About the Responsible AI Institute (RAI)

RAI is a non-profit organization building tangible governance tools for trustworthy, safe, and fair Artificial Intelligence (AI). Through a first-of-its-kind certification system that qualifies AI systems, we support practitioners as they navigate the complex landscape of creating Responsible AI. Feedback generated from these systems will in turn inform AI policymakers, enabling technologies that improve the social and economic well-being of society.
