The Sunlight Foundation is bringing in the school year with Sunlight Academy. The online curriculum includes training modules on topics to suit all interests, ranging from unlocking data, to tracking lobbying, to data analysis.

Open Data Impacts’s Tim Davies wrote an interesting piece about how to build a successful online open data portal. One of the tips: “Just putting data online is not enough to get it used. Outreach, community building and engagement is required.”
